// prompter monitors

Three monitor families, and what each one is for.

CSMV2 is the studio and IP answer, EMC is the one for fixed positions in rooms, and CSF is the one that travels.

CSMV2

The prompt arrives over Ethernet on CueTALK with no converter in front of the monitor, the ST2110 SFP+ is available when the facility calls for it, and at 1500 cd/m2 it holds up on a lit floor.

EMC

CueScript calls it the accessible version of the studio range. The SDI loop out makes it straightforward to feed a second position from the same chain.

CSF

Light enough for a tripod or a light stand. The 10.4 in package weighs about 10.3 lb complete with its mount and collapsible hood.

CSMV217 in, 19 in, 21.3 in1500 cd/m2SDI, HDMI, composite, CueTALK over Ethernet, optional ST2110 SFP+

CSF10.4 in, 15 in1500 cd/m2Autosensing on the 10.4 in unit: SDI, HDMI, DVI, VGA and composite
CueScript marks CSM17 and CSM19 end of life, available while supplies last, and names CSMV217 and CSMV219 as their replacements, so plan a new room on the current models. They share the mounting rails, so a talent monitor or a PTZ bracket bought for a CSM fits a CSMV2. The 15 in CSF takes an adapter plate to attach to the larger mounts and hoods.

// ptz prompters

Four PTZ systems, each one order code.

The camera mounts upside down inside a hood built for it. CueScript states that inverting it gives the camera more movement than a PTZ inside a conventional prompter.

What the code includes

The CueScript PTZ mount CSMPTZ, the PTZ hood CSHPTZ and the monitor, as one line on the order. CSMPTZ and CSHPTZ are also orderable on their own. The PTZ camera is not included.

What it saves you

No counterbalance weight is required, and CueScript states the PTZ mount makes a lighting stand possible rather than a high-payload tripod. A wall-mounted version covers rooms with no floor to give up.

The bracket interface differs by monitor family: CueScript documents a T-rail for the CSM and CSMV2 monitors and four VESA thumb screws for the EMC, at 75 mm on the EMC15 and 100 mm on the EMC17.

// cueit software and controls

Three CueiT versions. Pick by how the prompt travels.

The version decides how video reaches the monitor and whether a newsroom system drives the run order. The CueB interface comes with two of the three, and it moves both capability and cost, so settle the version before the rest of the position.

scroll control

CSSC desktop control

The control that comes with the software. A foot control and the wireless hand and foot controls sit alongside it, so an operator and a presenter can each have one.

application

CueiT

Run order, script editing and prompt view, on Windows as standard with a Mac license available as an add-on.

CueTALK, on the wire and over the internet

CueScript states CueTALK needs no more than ordinary business IT connectivity, which suits a chamber or a lecture hall with no video-grade network to build on. CueTALK Cloud reaches controllers and prompt devices over a standard internet connection.

Wireless controls and SayiT

The wireless hand and foot controls ship on 915 MHz in the United States, with a published range of 100 m against 300 m on the 868 MHz version sold elsewhere, so plan on the US figure. SayiT, the speech-driven scroll, needs an audio feed of the talent voice and a suitable interface.

CSRA stand

talent monitors

TM22 and TM24

A 22 in or 24 in panel facing the presenter, on a three-axis mount that slides into the rails of a CSM or CSMV2. Panel and mount are separate order codes, and CueScript notes that attaching one to an EMC takes a modification.

podium and lectern

Speech prompters

Glass speech prompters for a podium, where the talent reads from clear panels either side of the lectern rather than from a camera. A common ask for a chamber, a graduation or a keynote.

CueScript states a three-year warranty on new equipment, with a paid extension to five years available, and excludes glass breakage and batteries.
