Varto Technologies designs, integrates and commissions complete production systems across the New York metro area: broadcast studios and control rooms, municipal council chambers, university athletics benches, a state lottery draw studio and the upgrade of a station production truck. Straight Shooter Media · The Stephen A. Smith Show
Jersey City, NJ
Varto specified the show’s production systems and carried them through: a Panasonic camera chain, TriCaster 2 Elite switching, CueScript prompting, a Telos phone system on supported VoIP lines, SNS EVO shared storage, and the Blackmagic and NETGEAR infrastructure beneath it.
Varto designed, integrated and commissioned the camera systems and both control rooms, and trained the staff who ran them.
Piscataway Township
Piscataway Community Television · Piscataway, NJ
A council meeting has to be heard by the people in the room and carried cleanly on the municipal channel, on a published schedule. Varto built the path from the dais out and extended it past the chamber into the zoning and planning rooms: Shure MXW wireless microphones, Panasonic AW-UE80 PTZ cameras into TriCaster 2 Elite switching, an Allen and Heath SQ-5 on Dante, and a Blustream matrix carrying the same capability room to room.
Varto designed, integrated and commissioned all three rooms, trained the township’s staff, and still supports the systems.
Seton Hall University Athletics
Mike Sheppard Sr. Stadium · South Orange, NJ
Seton Hall wanted to produce its own games instead of hiring outside crews. Varto built a multi-camera control room for baseball and soccer around seven-plus camera positions, TriCaster switching, 3Play replay and a live scorebug.
Varto designed, integrated and commissioned the room, and trained the program’s own staff to run it.

Bloomfield Township · WBMA-TV
Bloomfield, NJ
An existing production truck that Varto upgraded, integrated and commissioned: new SMPTE fiber through a replaced side panel, an ATEM Constellation switcher and Blackmagic fiber converters racked in, camera control for four fiber camera chains, and Clear-Com integrated throughout.
Varto also supports Bloomfield’s municipal TV studio and control room and trains its staff.
New Jersey Lottery
Trenton, NJ
Three live draws a day, in public and under regulation. Varto built the draw studio to run primary and backup switching in parallel, with Flowics graphics and Dante audio on a Yamaha DM3, so the second path is not a recovery plan. It is already running.
Pitney Bowes
A corporate production environment. Varto’s scope included NDI and Dante, PTZ cameras running autotracking, Allen & Heath audio, NETGEAR AV networking and Adder KVM.
North Brunswick Township
North Brunswick, NJ
Varto installed Cablecast playout for the township’s PEG channel, and supplied and installed the chamber’s Panasonic 4K PTZ cameras. Cablecast
