Streams that stay up
when it counts.

Encoders, bonded cellular, and multi-destination delivery built to stay up when it counts, from a weekly service to a global corporate broadcast.

Varto Technologies is a broadcast systems integrator in East Rutherford, NJ: one team that designs, builds, commissions, and supports streaming and webcast systems across the NY/NJ metro and nationwide.

OUT 01THE SIGNAL
// Where the stream begins

The signal out.

Everything upstream of the internet: this is where your program becomes a stream.

01Encoders

The box that turns your program into a stream, chosen for reliability first, because it's the one box everything else stands on.

02SRT & RTMP

The transport protocols, chosen and configured for the path, not by default.

03Low-latency

When the stream has to track the room: auctions, worship, watch-alongs, Q&A.

OUT 02THE PATH
// Where the stream rides

The path.

One feed out, every destination fed, with failover that was designed rather than hoped for.

04Bonded cellular

Multiple carriers bonded into one dependable path when the wired line doesn't exist or can't be trusted.

05Multi-destination delivery

One stream out, every platform fed simultaneously, fanned out where it costs least and fails safest.

06CDN

Delivery that scales to your real audience, whether that's a town or the world.

OUT 03THE PROGRAM
// Where it becomes a show

The program.

A stream people actually watch is produced, captioned, and monitored like the broadcast it is.

07Webcasting

Meetings, services, and events produced and delivered as a finished program.

08Captioning

Live captions for accessibility and compliance, wired into the workflow.

09Monitoring

Confidence views and alerts, so you know it's up without refreshing a phone.

OUT 04THE PROOF
// On air

On air, eight years running.

Eight consecutive years, zero dropped shows.

A nationally streamed charity benefit rides LiveU transmission, Restream multi-destination delivery, and Peplink connectivity, rebuilt and proven for an eighth straight year.

// Straight answers

What stream owners ask.

Q·01Can we stream to several platforms at once?

Yes, that's standard now: one program feed, delivered everywhere you need it simultaneously. The design question is where the fan-out happens, and we'll pick the spot that costs least and fails safest.

Q·02What happens if our internet drops mid-stream?

If the design is right, the audience never knows. Bonded cellular, backup paths, and automatic failover are exactly the difference between a streaming setup and a streaming system.

Q·03Do our public meetings need captions?

For most government and public-institution streams, yes, and it's good practice everywhere else. We build live captioning into the chain rather than bolting it on.

Q·04Should our public meetings stream on a free platform or our own?

Each is a trade. Free platforms bring reach and zero hosting cost, but you don't control ads, recommendations, or permanence. Dedicated platforms cost money and give you archives, agenda links, and accessibility control. Many municipalities run both. We'll set up whichever mix your obligations and audience actually require.

Q·05What do the new accessibility rules require for streamed public meetings?

Federal accessibility requirements for government web content now cover live streams, captions included: communities of 50,000 or more must comply by April 26, 2027, and smaller communities and special districts by April 26, 2028. If your municipality streams meetings, this deserves attention now. We build captioning into the chain and can help you work out what your community's deadline is.

Q·06Can our staff run all this after you build it?

That's the goal of the design. Presets, one-button starts, and monitoring that says "you're live" in plain language turn a streaming system into a routine. We train the people who will actually run it, and we're still here on the day something odd happens.
