// Demo studio

See it working before you buy it.

Varto’s East Rutherford headquarters includes a fully functioning control room and studio where the systems we sell actually run: TriCaster production, PTZ camera chains, LiveU transmission, and current kits racked and live. Book a visit, or take the same walkthrough remotely.

// What you can put hands on

A working production environment, not a display wall.

Switching, replay, graphics, camera control, streaming, and audio, wired the way we’d wire yours. The room changes as new kits stage through it, so what’s racked this month reflects what’s shipping now.

01 · Switching

Live production switching, run from the chair you’d actually sit in.

02 · Replay

Instant replay workflows, driven at game speed.

03 · Graphics

Live graphics on the systems broadcasters trust.

04 · Camera control

PTZ chains with presets and shading, one operator.

05 · Streaming

Transmission and delivery paths, live from the room.

06 · Audio

The mix position, wired the way we’d wire yours.

// the room itself

The floor, the glass, and the racks.

One working room: a lit studio floor with a green cyclorama, a control room behind the glass, and the rental-pool racks that make every demo run on real, current inventory.

The plumbing is the point.

A demo wall shows you a product. This room shows you a system: the same routing, networking, audio, comms, storage, and control infrastructure we design into customer facilities, running every day. A partial tour of what is racked here.

01AV over fiber. A Netgear AV network runs the building: roughly ten managed switches spanning 1G to 10G, PoE+ to PoE++, so cameras, lights, and control all ride the same engineered backbone.
02SDI beside NDI. A 40×40 SDI router sits next to the IP fabric, because real facilities run both, and the demo should too.
03Audio and comms. Dante audio, Allen & Heath mixing, Shure microphones, in-ear IFBs, and Clear-Com intercom, wired the way a working show wires them.
04Contribution and receive. LiveU encoders and decoders live in the racks, so field-to-studio workflows demo end to end, not as a diagram.
05Cameras that track. PTZ and field cameras under a lighting grid with a green cyclorama, with auto-tracking camera control in the loop.
06Storage and post. Shared production storage feeds edit bays running Adobe Premiere and DaVinci Resolve; record, cut, and play back without leaving the room.
07Every desk, any machine. KVM over IP puts any workstation on any desk, which is how one room demos a dozen workflows in an afternoon.
08Meetings on the air. Zoom and Teams arrive over NDI, so the hybrid-meeting workflow your organization actually needs runs live, not hypothetically.

And the whole environment travels: field kits present the same network as the building, so nothing gets re-addressed on show day

// Straight answers

Questions we hear every week.

Can we run our own show as the demo?

Yes, and it’s the best version: your rundown, your graphics, your media on the actual systems. That’s how a demo becomes a decision.

How long should we plan for?

An hour covers a focused question; teams comparing workflows should plan longer. We’ll size it when you book.

Is this a sales pitch?

It’s a working room with an engineer in it. You drive; we answer; the quote comes later if you want one.
