Varto Fine Arts Tech, Inc. dba Varto Technologies

Effective date: September 30, 2026

Who we are

Varto Fine Arts Tech, Inc., doing business as Varto Technologies, designs, sells, rents, installs, services and supports broadcast and audio visual systems. This policy explains what we collect through vartotech.com and what we do with it.

This website is intended primarily for business and institutional customers in the United States.

Information we collect

What you send us

When you submit a form on this site or email us, we receive your name, email address, phone number, company name and whatever you write in your message. We also record the page you submitted from, including any campaign or tracking parameters that were in the link you followed, and the spam score our anti-abuse service assigns to the submission.

Our forms do not store your IP address with your submission.

What is collected automatically

Our web host and content delivery network record standard technical information for every visit, including IP address, browser type, the pages requested and the time of the request.

Google Analytics records the pages you view, the page you came from, an approximate location worked out from your IP address (country, region and city), the type of device and browser you use, and how you reached the site. It does not record your name or your contact details.

This website does not ask for payment card details, government identifiers or account passwords. There are no customer accounts, no shopping cart and no comments.

How we use information

We use the information to:

  • answer your inquiry, and prepare a quotation or proposal when you ask for one
  • supply, install, service and support equipment and systems
  • keep records of our business relationship, including quotes, orders, service history and accounting records
  • send you an automatic acknowledgement that your message arrived
  • keep the site working, and block spam and automated abuse

When we share information

We share information when it is reasonably necessary to do the work you have asked us to do, with these kinds of recipients:

  • manufacturers and distributors, for quotations, product availability, deal registration and order fulfillment
  • financing and leasing providers, when you ask us about financing
  • service providers who operate parts of this business for us, including our website host, content delivery network, email provider, website analytics and advertising measurement provider (Google), and spam prevention and anti-bot services
  • professional advisers, and authorities, where we are legally required to disclose

We do not sell personal information.

Cookies and third-party services

This site has Google Ads measurement tags. For visitors in the United States they run unless your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal; for visitors anywhere else they do not run. They record the pages you visit and whether you send us an inquiry or tap or click our phone number, so that when we run ads on Google we can tell which ads led to an inquiry. We do not use them to show you ads based on your visit, and they are set so that your visit is not used for personalized advertising.

We use Google Analytics, loaded through Google Tag Manager, to understand how the site is used: which pages people read, how they arrived, whether they clicked our phone number or email address, and whether they went on to send us an inquiry. We do not send your name, email address, phone number, company name or anything you type into a form to Google. Google Signals is turned off, the property is not linked to any Google Ads account, and we do not use it to build advertising audiences.

For visitors in the United States, Google Analytics sets cookies that give your browser a random identifier, so that a return visit can be recognized as the same browser. For visitors anywhere else, it runs without analytics cookies. Google Ads sets its own cookies for visitors in the United States: they hold a random identifier and, if you arrived from one of our ads, the click reference Google added to that link. It sets none for visitors anywhere else.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a request not to use analytics or advertising cookies, wherever you are. Our Google Ads tags do not run, and Google Analytics receives a record of the pages you view without cookies.

These services operate parts of this site, and each one handles some information about your visit:

  • Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager measure how this site is used. Tag Manager loads the measurement code, and Analytics records page views, how far down a page you scroll, clicks on links that leave this site, file downloads, clicks on our phone number and email address, and the fact that an inquiry form was completed. Google receives your IP address when this loads.
  • Google Ads measurement runs for visitors in the United States unless their browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. It records the pages you visit and whether you send us an inquiry or tap or click our phone number, so that, when we run ads on Google, we can tell which ads led to an inquiry. It sets the advertising cookies described above and receives your IP address, the page title, the page address limited to the page and our own campaign labels, the address of the website you came from without its path, and, if you arrived from one of our ads, the click reference Google added to that link. It is not used for remarketing or personalized ads.
  • Gravity Forms runs the contact forms and stores submissions in this website's database.
  • Google reCAPTCHA protects those forms from automated abuse. It loads on every page of this site, not only pages that carry a form, so Google receives your IP address and some browser information on each page view, and may set cookies for this purpose.
  • Akismet, operated by Automattic, checks form submissions for spam. What you write in the form is sent to Akismet for that check.
  • FluentSMTP sends this site's email through Microsoft 365, and keeps a copy of each message it sends in this website for 14 days.
  • Cloudflare delivers and protects the site, and sets a security cookie that helps tell visitors apart from automated traffic.
  • WP Engine hosts the site and keeps server logs.
  • Google Fonts supplies the typefaces this site uses, so Google receives your IP address when those fonts load.
  • Vimeo hosts product videos on our Vizrt and TriCaster pages. Nothing loads from Vimeo until you press play; when you do, Vimeo receives your IP address and player events and may set its own cookies. The player is embedded with Vimeo's do-not-track setting.

Retention and security

Form submissions are deleted from this website automatically 24 months after they are received. Google Analytics keeps this measurement data for 14 months.

We keep inquiry, quotation, transaction and support records for as long as we reasonably need them for the inquiry, the business relationship, support, accounting and legal obligations. We may delete or anonymize records once we no longer need them. Some records have to be kept even after a request to delete them, where accounting or legal obligations require it.

The site is served over HTTPS, and access to submissions is limited to people at Varto who need it. No website or storage method is completely secure, and we do not claim otherwise.

Your choices and privacy requests

Write to sales@vartotech.com to ask what information we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. Please tell us the email address you used, because that is how we locate your records.

Sending us a quote or project request does not add you to a mailing list. We may send occasional business email to subscribers, existing customers and appropriate business contacts. Every marketing message includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can also ask us to stop at the address above.

To turn off Google Ads measurement, use Global Privacy Control or your browser's tracking protection. With Global Privacy Control, Google Analytics uses no cookies but still receives a record of the pages you view. Browser tracking protection or Google's opt-out add-on can stop Analytics entirely.

Children

This website is meant for business and institutional customers. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. Selling equipment to a school or a school district does not mean we collect student information through this website.

Changes to this policy

We update this page when our practices change, and we change the effective date at the top.
