recorder-switchers
Monitor, record and switch from one 19-inch screen.
Two 19-inch 4K HDR recorder-switchers: the Shogun AV-19 for the rack and the Sumo PRO-19 for the road.
Shogun AV-19
A 19-inch, 1200-nit 4K HDR monitor-recorder-switcher that mounts in 7RU. It records up to four SDI camera feeds as separate files at up to 1080p60, plus a fifth program recording, while you switch.
For control rooms and flypacks with up to four cameras that each need their own recording.

What the Shogun AV-19 connects
- Video in
- 2 x 12G-SDI, 2 x 3G-SDI and 1 x HDMI 2.0
- Video out
- 1 x 12G-SDI and 1 x HDMI 2.0
- Recording
- ProRes RAW, ProRes, Avid DNx and H.265, to CFexpress Type B cards or USB-C drives
- Audio
- 2 XLR inputs with 48V phantom power, 2 XLR outputs, headphone jack
- Network
- RJ45 with NDI HX3 in and out. NDI sources cannot be combined with SDI or HDMI feeds; on NDI it shows one source full screen or four in a quad view.
- Sync
- Reference input for playback; LTC timecode on BNC when recording
- Rack and power
- 7RU with 19-inch rack ears; 4-pin XLR DC power
For rooms that already record and switch, Atomos also makes a monitor-only Shogun AV-19M with 12G-SDI, HDMI and NDI monitoring.
Sumo PRO-19
It records and switches up to four cameras, like the Shogun AV-19, in a portable chassis with a built-in handle and removable feet. Unlike the Shogun, it has Wi-Fi as well as Ethernet, with NDI 6 HX3 send and receive, and AirGlu wireless timecode.
For productions that move between rooms, and for a director's monitor on location.
on-camera recorders
Ninja recorders: monitor and record on the camera.
Each Ninja is a 5.2-inch, 1500-nit HDR touchscreen that mounts on the camera and records to CFexpress Type B cards or USB-C drives.
Ninja models
| Recorder | Video in and out | Records |
|---|---|---|
| Ninja TX | 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0, in and out | ProRes RAW, ProRes, Avid DNx, H.265 |
| Ninja TX GO | HDMI 2.0 in and out | ProRes RAW, ProRes, Avid DNx, H.265 |
| Ninja RAW | HDMI 2.0 in and out | ProRes RAW, ProRes, H.265 |
- NDI from the camera: Ninja TX and Ninja TX GO have Wi-Fi 6E with NDI 6 HX3 send and receive, so a camera can join the production as an NDI source, and they upload files to cloud storage from the field.
- Ninja TX also has AirGlu wireless timecode over RF or Bluetooth, with UltraSync. Ninja RAW has no built-in Wi-Fi.
- Camera control: all three run supported cameras over USB-C, from start and stop to ISO, shutter, aperture, white balance and touch to focus.
NDI over Wi-Fi depends on the venue's network. We plan the network before we count on a wireless camera.
For handheld and shoulder cameras, field crews, and cameras that feed a production over NDI.

camera monitors
Shinobi monitors for the camera and the director.
Shinobi HDR monitors come in 5-inch and 7-inch sizes for camera operators, focus pullers and directors. They monitor; they do not record.
- Wireless: Shinobi 7 RX receives the Atomos TX video link, so a director can watch a camera without a cable.
For camera positions, and for directors and clients watching on set.

Shinobi models
| Monitor | Screen | Video |
|---|---|---|
| Shinobi GO | 5.2-inch, 1500 nit | HDMI in |
| Shinobi II | 5.2-inch, 1500 nit, camera control over USB-C | HDMI in |
| Shinobi 7 II | 7-inch, 2800 nit, camera control over USB-C | HDMI 2.0 in and out |
| Shinobi 7 RX | 7-inch, 2200 nit, wireless receiver built in | HDMI 2.0 in and out; SDI in up to 1080p60; 3G-SDI out |
a-eye ptz
NDI PTZ cameras with AI tracking.
Three A-Eye cameras share one feature set: HDMI, 3G-SDI, USB and IP outputs, NDI HX3 included, SRT and RTMP streaming, and PoE+ (802.3at) power over the network cable or 12V DC.
- AI auto tracking follows a presenter without an operator on the joystick.
- Control: the cameras take VISCA over IP, or VISCA and Pelco over RS-232 and RS-485.
For council chambers, classrooms, worship spaces and studios where one operator runs several cameras.

A-Eye cameras
| Camera | Zoom | Video |
|---|---|---|
| A-Eye HD-20X | 20x optical | Up to 1080p60 |
| A-Eye 4K-12X | 12x optical | Up to 4Kp60; 3G-SDI carries up to 1080p60 |
| A-Eye 4K-20X | 20x optical | Up to 4Kp60; 3G-SDI carries up to 1080p60 |
A-Eye PTZ Controller Pro
A 7-inch touchscreen controller for up to 254 cameras, including PTZ cameras from other makers, over NDI, VISCA, VISCA over IP and Pelco. It has a 4K HDMI output, a built-in tally light, and records motion paths for repeatable moves.
A-Eye Control
A joystick controller with a 5-inch screen, RS-232, RS-422 and IP control, powered by PoE or 12V DC.

wireless and timecode
Wireless video and timecode.
Send a camera's picture to a director or a second monitor without a cable, and keep the cameras on the same timecode.
Atomos TX and RX
The TX takes 3G-SDI or HDMI from a camera and sends it to up to four receivers, with AES-128 encryption and latency Atomos rates at 60 ms. The RX outputs 3G-SDI and two HDMI feeds; Shinobi 7 RX is the monitor with the receiver built in. SDI runs up to 1080p60; HDMI carries up to 4Kp30.
UltraSync ONE and UltraSync BLUE
UltraSync ONE sends wireless timecode, genlock and word clock from one unit. UltraSync BLUE sends timecode over Bluetooth to up to six compatible cameras, audio recorders and apps.

We plan the signal path, the recording and the sync.
Monitors and recorders work as well as the signals, media and timing around them. We design that part, install it, test it on your own productions and train the people who run it.
- Signals: each camera's output, SDI or HDMI, routed to the monitor and recorder that needs it.
- SDI or NDI, per camera: the Shogun AV-19 does not mix NDI with SDI or HDMI feeds, so each camera's path is decided before anything is ordered.
- Media and offload: cards, drives and an offload routine, so recordings reach the edit.
- Sync and timecode: LTC and UltraSync timecode set so camera files line up in the edit.
- Rack, power and network: rack space, DC power, PoE+ ports for PTZ cameras, and video traffic kept apart from office traffic.
- Training: operators learn recording, monitoring tools, switching and PTZ presets on their own system.
What to send for an Atomos quote
- Cameras: how many, the make and model of each, its SDI or HDMI output, and where it sits.
- Recording: what you record today, in which format, and whether every camera needs its own file.
- Monitoring: who needs to see which picture, from the operator to the director.
- Network: the switch, its PoE+ ports, and who manages it.
- Sync: any house reference or timecode you already run.
- The space: control room, chamber, stage, or a kit that travels.
Your camera list and a photo of the rack are enough to start.
Send your camera list. We will plan the system.
We come back with the monitors, recorders and sync, and what it takes to run them.
