What Varto sells from the Blackmagic line, and where it fits.
Blackmagic’s live production line runs from a desktop switcher to a 4 M/E broadcast switcher, with cameras, recorders, routers and converters that connect over SDI, HDMI or IP. The decisions are about those connections: SDI or HDMI, HD or Ultra HD, SDI or 2110, and what gets recorded where. Varto quotes single units and designs whole rooms.

ATEM Mini, Television Studio and Constellation.
Every ATEM runs the free ATEM Software Control on a Mac or PC, and hardware panels from the same family are offered for each tier. What changes between tiers is the inputs, the video standard, and how much of the room lives inside the box.

ATEM Mini
Four or eight HDMI inputs on a desktop control panel with a built-in streaming engine and USB recording. The ISO models also record every input as its own file with a DaVinci Resolve project, so the show can be re-cut after it airs. Mini Extreme ISO G2 adds Thunderbolt, 10G Ethernet and eight ISO records.

Eight standards-converted SDI inputs behind a real broadcast control panel, with a streaming engine, USB recording, multiview and talkback in one unit. HD8 models are 3G-SDI; the 4K8 is 12G-SDI for Ultra HD. ISO models record all eight inputs; 2TB models add internal storage that several editors can share.

The modular broadcast line: 1, 2 and 4 M/E models in HD (3G-SDI) and Ultra HD (12G-SDI), with 10, 20, 40 or 80 standards-converted SDI inputs, up to 16 advanced keyers, up to four multiviews and two SuperSource processors. Control from the front panel, the software, or an ATEM Advanced Panel sized to the switcher.

SMPTE 2110 · 100G Ethernet
ATEM Constellation IP
The 4 M/E switcher built on SMPTE 2110 over 100G Ethernet instead of SDI: 32 standards-converted inputs and 24 outputs on the IP model, 64 inputs on the IP Plus, all on SMPTE 2022-7 redundant links, with 16 keyers, four multiviews and two SuperSource processors. It is a different product for a different building. Choose it when the facility is moving to IP, not because it is newer; SDI sources reach it through Blackmagic 2110 IP converters.

Control panels.
ATEM Software Control is included with every switcher and runs on any Mac or PC on the network. Add an ATEM Micro Panel ($785) to a Mini or Television Studio, an ATEM Advanced Panel from the 1 M/E Advanced Panel 10 ($3,695) to the 4 M/E Advanced Panel 40 for a Constellation, and an ATEM Camera Control Panel ($3,425) to shade four cameras from the desk.

ISO models record every input as its own file and write a DaVinci Resolve project that opens as a multicam timeline. If anyone will edit the show after it airs, choose the ISO model. If the program recording is the deliverable, the standard model with a HyperDeck for redundancy costs less.
Prices are Blackmagic Design US list prices as of September 8, 2026, for the models named. Blackmagic runs periodic promotions on some Ultra HD models; your quote uses the price in effect on the day. Panels, cables and converters are quoted with the system.

Studio Camera, URSA Broadcast and Micro Studio Camera.
The three Studio Camera models are built as studio cameras: a 7-inch viewfinder, tally, talkback and remote camera control over the SDI cable. URSA Broadcast G2 is the shoulder and pedestal camera for B4 lenses. Micro Studio Camera 4K G2 is the remote camera for the places a full camera will not fit.

Micro Studio Camera 4K G2$1,205
A palm-sized Ultra HD camera with an MFT mount and 12G-SDI in and out: the hoop, the pulpit, the podium rail, the drum riser, anywhere a full camera will not fit. Remote control and tally come back over SDI like the larger cameras.

- Studio Camera 4K Pro G2 and 6K Pro with a Studio Converter: one cable for video, return, control and power, up to the run lengths Ethernet allows.
- SMPTE 2110
- An SDI camera through a Blackmagic 2110 IP converter such as the 2110 IP Mini BiDirect 12G, into a 2110 network or a Constellation IP.
- Streaming
- URSA Broadcast G2 and the Studio Camera Pro models can stream over SRT or RTMP; a Streaming Decoder 4K or an ATEM Streaming Bridge returns the stream to the switcher as SDI.

HyperDeck Studio recorders.
A switcher can record the program. A HyperDeck records it somewhere the switcher cannot lose it, in a file an editor opens directly, and plays clips and graphics back into the show.

All four record to network storage over Ethernet, take RS-422 deck control, and can be started and stopped by an ATEM over the network. For a Television Studio ISO or a Mini ISO, a HyperDeck is the redundant program record; for a Constellation, it is the ISO rack. Larger HyperDeck Extreme decks and the portable HyperDeck Shuttle are quoted on request.

Videohub 12G routers
Zero-latency 12G-SDI routers from 10x10 ($1,575) to 120x120 ($14,425), and Videohub Mini 4x2, 6x2 and 8x4 for a desk. Route from the front panel, from the Smart Control Pro and Master Control Pro panels, or from the free software on Mac, Windows and iPad.
Micro and Teranex Mini converters
HDMI to SDI, SDI to HDMI and bidirectional Micro Converters in 3G ($75) and 12G ($145 to $189) for the display, the laptop and the HDMI camera; Teranex Mini for 12G format, audio, optical and IP conversion in a rack.
SMPTE 2110 IP converters and switches
Blackmagic 2110 IP Converters put SDI and HDMI sources on a 2110 network, from the $345 IP to HDMI Mini to 8x12G fiber units; the Ethernet Switch 360P (16 x 10G and 2 x 100G) and 820 (8 x 100G) add PTP and NMOS. This is where an SDI room and a Constellation IP meet.
DeckLink and UltraStudio capture
The computer in the room gets SDI and HDMI through a DeckLink PCIe card (from $149) or an UltraStudio Thunderbolt unit (from $179), for DaVinci Resolve, OBS, Wirecast, graphics and playout systems.
Streaming Encoder and Decoder
Streaming Encoder HD ($599) and 4K ($785) send an SDI feed over SRT or RTMP; the Streaming Decoder 4K ($785) brings a remote camera or a return feed back to SDI and HDMI with tally and control.

DaVinci Resolve for the edit and the replay.
Every ISO-recording ATEM writes a DaVinci Resolve project beside its files, so the live cut opens as a timeline with every camera still available: fix the one wrong cut, re-grade, add graphics, deliver. DaVinci Resolve is free; DaVinci Resolve Studio adds the Neural Engine tools, noise reduction and higher frame rates and resolutions, and is included with URSA Broadcast G2.
The Cut page carries broadcast replay tools, and the DaVinci Resolve Replay Editor panel drives them, which brings instant replay to a small sports production without a replay server. Varto also supplies dedicated replay systems; the Vizrt 3Play page covers those.
