The compact console, with or without Dante.
Both DM3 models have 16 local inputs, eight faders plus a master, a 9-inch touchscreen and 18 x 18 USB audio. Only the DM3 has Dante; the DM3 Standard does not. Their fronts look the same, so the rear panel is where the choice shows.

Two etherCON ports carry 16 channels of Dante each way, so the console can take a stage box, share audio with other Dante equipment and record over the network.

TF consoles put a motorized fader on each input channel: 16 on the TF1, 24 on the TF3 and 32 on the TF5, plus a master. Dante is not built in; it takes the NY64-D card in the expansion slot.

Yamaha lists some Broadcast package functions, such as the loudness meter on DM5, as future updates. We confirm the current feature set when we quote.

A Dante I/O rack sits on the stage or set with one network cable back to the console, and the preamp gain is controlled from the desk. Which rack depends on the console.

Remote gain depends on the console model and firmware, so we check Yamaha’s compatibility table before pairing a rack with a console.

A draw studio that runs three live draws a day.
The Lottery control room, March 2025
Varto built the New Jersey Lottery draw studio to run primary and backup switching in parallel, with Flowics graphics and Dante audio on a Yamaha DM3.
The draws go out three times a day, in public and under regulation, so the second path is already running rather than waiting as a recovery plan.
