What changed in the TriCaster line.
Vizrt rebuilt the range on one hardware platform. What Vizrt announced, and how to order.
- New
- TriCaster Prizm
Vizrt positions Prizm as the successor to TriCaster TC410 Plus, TC1 and 1 Pro: 16 inputs, 0 or 8 SDI, LivePanel Pro included.
- Platform
- One 2RU chassis for Prizm and Vizion
Integrated audio, TSL 5 tally and a shorter rack depth on both. Vizion adds redundant power supplies. The Vizion Tower and 1RU hardware are no longer sold new.
- Included
- LivePanel Pro on Prizm and Vizion
A browser-based control layer that is part of the system, not a separate purchase. It arrives through Vizrt's software releases; the date of the first release is not yet confirmed.
- Announced
- TriCaster Vizion AI/R
An annual subscription add-on for Vizion only. Vizrt has announced it and has not yet published when it can be ordered.
- End of sale
- TC410 Plus, TC1, 1 Pro, Vizion Tower and 1RU
No longer sold new by Vizrt. Support and parts availability for systems in service depend on each model's lifecycle.

Which one.
| If your production is | Start at | Because |
|---|---|---|
| A flagship room: broadcast, sports, or a chamber of record | TriCaster Vizion 2RU, with a Flex Dual panel | 44 inputs, SDI and IP together, eight mix outputs, redundant power, Viz Flowics Basic included. |
| A school, church, corporate or event room with a working crew | TriCaster Prizm with 8 SDI | 16 inputs, SDI and IP together, four outputs, LivePanel Pro for a crew that shares the work across screens. |
| An IP-only room built on NDI cameras | TriCaster Prizm with 0 SDI | The same system without SDI ports. Viz Connect converts any SDI source you add later. |
| A compact space, turnkey, one operator | TriCaster Mini X | Eight inputs from HDMI and NDI sources at up to 4K, the same family workflow. |
| Your own hardware, software defined | TriCaster Mini S | Eight NDI inputs, four M/E buses, on Vizrt-certified hardware or yours. |
| Production that has to live in the cloud | TriCaster Vectar, or Vizion in the cloud | 44 sources with nothing to rack. |
No universal best exists. A configured quote and a demonstration settle it.
// hands on the show
A panel for the operator, a browser for the crew.
Every TriCaster runs fully from its own interface. A control surface buys speed and muscle memory, which matters when the show is live or run by a rotating crew. Vizrt currently makes three TriCaster panels.

TriCaster Flex Dual
$14,495
24 crosspoints, two M/E banks, onboard audio control, connects over the network by NDI
Vizion, Prizm and Vectar

TriCaster Flex
$8,995
16 crosspoints, one M/E row, connects over the network by NDI
Every current TriCaster

TriCaster Mini Control Panel
$2,595
14 crosspoints, no displays, connects by USB
Every current TriCaster
Flex Dual and Flex sit anywhere on the network, so the surface can be in the room the show is in while the switcher is racked elsewhere. The 4 Stripe and 2 Stripe panels are no longer sold new; both still operate with Vizion, Prizm and Vectar.
Panel prices are Vizrt US list prices as of September 10, 2026.

Included capability
LivePanel Pro, included with Prizm and Vizion.
A browser-based control layer. Each operator gets a layout built for the tasks they own, cameras, graphics, audio or streaming, on any screen on the network, with a widget designer, video previews and role-based access. It is a capability of the system, not a separate purchase, and it arrives through Vizrt's software releases. Ask us whether the first release has shipped for your system.

Announced · optional subscription
TriCaster Vizion AI/R, announced.
An annual subscription add-on for TriCaster Vizion only: a real-time AI keyer that does not depend on an evenly lit green screen, and augmented-reality graphics inside the switcher. It is not offered for Prizm or Mini. Vizrt has announced it and has not yet published when it can be ordered; we will quote it when Vizrt opens ordering.

// if you already own one
TC410 Plus, TC1, 1 Pro, 2 Elite, Vizion Tower or 1RU: what changes for you.
Vizrt no longer sells these new. Systems in service keep working. Support and parts availability depend on each model's lifecycle, which Vizrt sets per model; tell us what you run and we will confirm where yours stands.
Trade-in
Vizrt offers trade-in credit on eligible older TriCaster systems and control surfaces toward Prizm, Vizion and Mini X, trading upward. Which systems qualify, and toward what, depends on the model you own and the system you move to. Tell us both and we will confirm what applies before you decide.
Repair
We are a Vizrt Authorized Repair Center. Tell us the model and the fault and we will tell you whether it can be repaired here and what the repair involves, before anything ships.
Support plans
Vizrt's ProTek support plans (Standard, Professional, and Advanced Hardware Replacement) are available for the current systems and quoted with the system.

// straight answers
What buyers ask.
Which TriCaster replaced the TC1?
TriCaster Prizm, in Vizrt's positioning. A TC1 or 1 Pro owner who needs more than 16 inputs, more than four mix outputs, or 16 SDI ports steps to Vizion instead.
What is included in the list price?
The system in the configuration named, with the software and support terms Vizrt attaches to that configuration. Vizion includes one year of Standard Support and Viz Flowics Basic for 36 months; Mini S perpetual includes three years of Viz Flowics Go and one year of Standard Support. Control surfaces, cameras, racking, commissioning and training are quoted separately.
What about the TriCaster 2 Elite?
Vizrt ended sale of the TriCaster 2 Elite in September 2024. Support and spare-parts availability follow Vizrt's product lifecycle policy for that model. We are a Vizrt Authorized Repair Center; tell us your system and its fault and we will confirm what can be done, and talk through replacement options such as Prizm or Vizion if that is the better path.
// start anywhere
Name the configuration, or describe the room.
If you know the system and the I/O, we will quote it. If you know the show and not the system, start a project and we will spec the room with you.
